Exploring Icons of George Town Heritage 

A Historic Site or Heritage Site is an official location where pieces of political, military, cultural, or social history have been preserved due to their cultural heritage value. Historic sites are usually protected by law, and many have been recognized with the official national historic site status. A historic site may be any building, landscape, site or structure that is of local, regional, or national significance.

1st March- As this was the final week with Dr. Zainurul, she passed the project brief and it was a random pickfor partner, and my partner is Hui Minh (New Media department). In the brief, we have to submit:

- 1 contact sheet per group (to be uploaded @ padlet.com), another 2 as individual work
- 1  paper of sketches on the topic that I've chosen (tiles!)
- from the sketches, develop the idea, google up some information on the topic
- lastly generate 3 fridge magnet

The submission date was on 14th April (Thursday). Thus we have sufficient time to generate a good product including all those paper works. I'm very excited when handling this project as I could learn a lot of new designing features such as, packaging, colour suitability, material culture, agronomic and principle of design. I hope the the fridge magnet can be a symbolic icon to represent Georgetown, Penang.
